i-Screening uses a single PIN-based owner session. The PIN itself is never displayed here.

To change access credentials, update the ACCESS_PIN environment variable in the deployment settings. PILOT_PIN is retained temporarily as a backwards-compatible fallback.

Data Management

Archive records first. Archived records can be restored or permanently deleted after a second confirmation. Permanent deletion keeps a deletion audit snapshot.

About & Information

About i-Screening

i-Screening is an internal system for managing community eye-screening activity: screening events, the screening records captured at each event, and the follow-up of patients who may need further care.

Visual acuity testing is done with the separate VA app. Results are entered here from the paper screening form, typed in or scanned.

Workflow

1. Create the screening event

  • Give it a short event code (e.g. KB). Screening numbers are prefixed with it: KB-0001, KB-0002…
  • Record the total headcount, including people screened without a detailed record.

2. Enter screening records

  • Use Add Screening Record to type in a paper form, or Scan / Capture Form to read it from a photo.
  • Always check scanned values against the form before saving.
  • Mark Potential Lead and Follow-up Required where appropriate.

3. Follow up

  • Open a potential record and choose Create Lead to add it to the Follow-up Queue.
  • Log every contact attempt and set the next follow-up date; overdue and due-today leads rise to the top of the queue.
  • Book appointments from the lead and mark them attended, no-show or cancelled.

4. Track results

  • The Dashboard and each event's Performance view show screening, lead and appointment conversion.

Records lifecycle

  • Archive hides a record from active lists. It can be restored from Settings › Data Management.
  • Permanent deletion is only possible for archived records, needs a second confirmation, and keeps an audit snapshot.
  • Use Export data (JSON) in Settings for an offline copy.

Privacy / Data Handling

Screening records and the related lead, follow-up and appointment information are stored in the backend database so authorised staff can manage follow-up. Access requires the staff access PIN.

Do not share screenshots or exports containing patient information outside authorised channels.
